Gower Brewery's Birthday.. What a night!
Last week we turned 10 and celebrated our birthday in style! Not only did we raise a glass to our first decade but also officially opened our newly refurbished Brewery Tap, Gower Brewery shop and launched our new website. It was a big night to say the least; with live music from The Hoots and delicious hog roast courtesy of Gower Hog Roast.
The lights went up on our shiny new shop, packed full of local Gower produce, new Gower Brewery merchandise and a selection of wines and spirits. Both Penderyn Distillery and Cook Distilling provided samples of their products and in depth chats about all things spirits, of course the Gower Brewery ales and beers were flowing out the taps too!
We danced and reminisced over copious pints well into the night. Needless to say, there were many sore heads the next day...
We’ve been reflecting back over the last 10 years in the lead up to launch night. Pouring those first few pints of Brew One in the back of the Greyhound feels like a lifetime ago! Our core range has expanded to over eight brews, we’re supplying to national supermarket chains and can’t keep up with our booming events and mobile bar business!
It’s so easy to let the years slip away; caught up in the day to day business of running a brewery. Friday night was such a testament to the hard work and graft of the exceptional team we have here. For that, we will always be grateful.
We’re incredibly proud of our new space! Tim and the team at Arrange Space did an exceptional job at transforming both the shop and Tap into a warm and stylish place- we’re very much looking forward to sharing pints with friends on Friday nights again.
