The Malthouse || Swansea 

The Malthouse Restaurant, Cafe & Bar is located in the heart of Swansea, in one of the most iconic city landmarks, the Swansea Grand Theatre. The Malthouse blends our award winning ales with other local flavours such as Gower Coffee, GG’s Gelato and Ivy’s Gin. 

We offer a range of options from our various outlets, from cafe and restaurant dining to numerous bars and venue hire options. 

Bar & Pre-show Dining

Open from 5pm on show nights, we offer a menu of sharing dishes and main meals. The bar is fully stocked with our award-winning beers and a selection of local spirits and wines. Walks-ins are welcome, but we advise that all dining is pre-booked to avoid disappointment.

Cafe

Our cafe brings you the best local flavours with fresh ground Gower Coffee, scooped GG's Gelato, alcoholic bottled drinks and a range of confectioneries all available until the interval. Located next to the Box Office, our Cafe is open 6 days a week from 10-2.30pm serving a range of light bites and snacks.

 Venue Hire

Need a space to host a coffee morning, event or celebration? The Malthouse is ideally situated in the heart of Swansea with great links to the bus service, adjacent to the iconic Swansea Grand Theatre. With multiple bar spaces, a light conservatory and full access – our spaces are suitable for private functions, parties and work events.
