PACKAGING LEAD 

WE'RE LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED PACKAGING STAFF TO HELP TAKE THE LEAD IN PACKAGING OUR BEERS.

DESCRIPTION

Location: Crofty, Swansea

Expected hours: full-time

We’re looking for an experienced packaging professional to join our dynamic and ultra-reliable brewery team. 

Working as part of a tight knit team to help run our state of the art bottling machine as well as our brand new kegging line, we’re looking for someone to join us in a senior position and take the lead on managing a small packaging team. Experience in a drinks or food industry production facility is desirable as we have stringent quality control and food safety standards which need adhered to. We’re especially looking for someone who’s motivated, dynamic and comfortable leading and managing teams to achieve packaging targets and minimise loss.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare the bottling and kegging lines for production, leading and directing their team to achieve packaging volume targets while minimising wastage.
  • Run machines throughout shifts, supervising and managing employees through various work stations.
  • End of shift shut-down, CIP and sterilisation of both bottle and keg packaging lines.
  • Complete all appropriate production documentation and sampling, liaising with the brewing staff and management to ensure industry and company standards are met.
  • Bulk beer storage and transfer, including the correct handling of lines and sanitation of hoses & fittings.

EXPERIENCE:

The ideal candidate will have team leading experience.

At least one years’ experience in a food or drinks industry production environment.

Knowledge of the beverage industry and brewing in particular is a bonus, but not essential.

JUNIOR PACKAGING OPERATOR

 

BE PART OF A TIGHT KNIT TEAM AND HELP RUN OUR STATE OF THE ART BOTTLING MACHINE, CANNING MACHINE AS WELL AS OUR KEGGING LINE.

DESCRIPTION:

Location: Crofty, Swansea

Expected hours: Full time

We are looking for Junior Packaging Operators to work as part of a tight knit team and help run our state of the art bottling machine, canning machine as well as our kegging line.  Experience in a drinks or food industry production facility is essential as we have stringent quality control and food safety standards which need to be adhered to.  Amazing communication skills are crucial as you will be required to assist senior staff in running small teams of Packaging Assistants, making sure that everyone understands their responsibilities and how they contribute to our goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervising the running of a variety of elements within our packaging operations
  • Maintaining excellent attention to detail in all aspects of duties, with a laser focus on quality as the packaging team are the last people to see the beer before it arrives to our customers
  • Maintaining accurate and meticulous records
  • Contributing to shift handovers and ensuring clear channels of communication with senior packaging staff to guarantee the quality and consistency of our beers
  • Able to work proactively on your own initiative

EXPERIENCE
